Trump agrees to debate with Kamala Harris on September 10

This comes after a statement issued by the former US President over the weekend, hinting at possibly canceling the debate due to ongoing disputes between the campaigns over the debate rules.

Debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris to be broadcast live on ABC News, Same rules as June 27 CNN debate with Joe Biden

The debate will have ‘no live audience’ and ‘muted microphones’

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has agreed to a debate with his Democratic opponent Kamala Harris on September 10, saying that “the rules will be the same as the last CNN debate, which seemed to work out well for everyone.”

On Truth Social, Trump said that he and Harris had agreed to be bound by the same rules that governed himself and President Joe Biden during their June 27 debate, including no live audience and muted microphones when not speaking.

After the June debate, US President Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential race and endorsed Kamala Harris for president.

Trump said that under the CNN rules, the candidates would not be allowed to bring their notes or “cheat sheets.”

“We have also been advised by ABC that they consider their relationship with us to be strong. This is a ‘fair and equitable’ debate. Neither side gets the questions in advance (No Donna Brazile!)” he added.

The 78-year-old ex-President of the US went on to say that the “Radical Left” would not approve the third debate, scheduled to be telecast live on Fox News on September 4.

“Harris would not agree to the Fox News debate on September 4th, but that date will be left open in case she changes her mind or Flip Flops. As she has done on every single one of her long-held and cherished policy beliefs An NBC FAKE NEWS third debate, which is possible, has not been agreed to by the Radical Left,” he stated.
