Lost Cat Travels 900 Miles from Yellowstone to California

Yellowstone National Park, USA – A cat has left many people speechless after he traveled almost 900 miles from Yellowstone National Park back to his home in California.

Two-year-old gray cat Rayne Beau disappeared last month during a family camping trip in Yellowstone. Heartbroken, owners Susanne and Benny Anguiano could do nothing when Rayne Beau ran off into the dense forest. Days of searching were unsuccessful, and they had to leave without him.

Two months later, the Anguianos said they received a surprise call from a pet microchip company. Rayne Beau was found in Roseville, California, more than 800 miles from where he went missing. A compassionate woman saw him wandering the streets and took him to a local animal shelter.

It was a hard journey for Rayne Beau. The long walk had left him six pounds lighter and his paws hurting. Now, he is home safely enjoying every minute with his twin sister and recovering from the adventure.

The Anguianos have been glad to have their fur buddy back, and they immediately fitted him with a GPS tracker to ensure this never happens again. They are going to practice camping in their driveway so Rayne Beau can get used to it before the next trip.

This remarkable story of survival and determination has captured many hearts and gave proof of what strength and resolute our pets can be.
