Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has issued a strong warning to Iran after a missile attack, saying that Iran made a big mistake by attacking Israel, and it will have to pay a heavy price for it. The Israeli military reported that Iran launched around 400 ballistic missiles at Israel. Thankfully, no casualties have been reported so far. Israel has placed its citizens in bomb shelters, and tensions between the two countries are rising once again.
The attack happened late on Tuesday night when hundreds of missiles were fired from Iran. Israel’s Iron Dome defense system was activated to intercept the missiles. Air raid sirens rang out across Israel, urging people to move into bunkers for safety. Even Prime Minister Netanyahu has taken shelter in a bunker and is closely monitoring the situation. He held an emergency cabinet meeting from the bunker and, after that, issued a clear warning to Iran.
Netanyahu’s Warning to Iran After the missile strikes, Netanyahu posted on X (formerly known as Twitter), saying, “Iran made a big mistake tonight, and they will pay the price for it. We will take revenge on those who attack us. We will succeed in this. Our defense is strong, and the U.S. is standing with us.” He also shared that while there has been some damage in the central and southern areas of Israel, no Israeli citizens were hurt.

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have also stated that Israel will respond at the right time, with an IDF spokesperson saying, “We will choose the time and place for our retaliation. Right now, our priority is the safety of our citizens.” The IDF also added that Israel’s air defense system is fully operational and working to detect and stop any threats.
This attack has made the ongoing conflict between Israel and militant groups like Hezbollah and Hamas, which started nearly a year ago, even more intense. There are concerns that the fighting could spread further across the Middle East. Israel has said it will keep attacking Hezbollah until it is safe for civilians near the Lebanon border to return to their homes. Israeli citizens are being advised through mobile alerts and national television to stay in safe places until further notice.
With tensions running high, the situation remains critical, and both nations are preparing for the next move.
