The Texas politician and attorney utilized her address to criticize Donald Trump by contrasting his career with that of Kamala Harris, finishing with a heartfelt story about her first meeting with the vice president.
Crockett, who serves Texas’s 30th congressional district, began her speech by “comparing their resumes,” highlighting that Kamala Harris “worked at McDonald’s while attending college at an HBCU,” whereas Trump “was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and assisted his father in the family business.”
